Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mesa Site Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.
In this role, you have the unique opportunity to build relationships and collaborate across the Mesa Site by partnering with site leadership team, managers, and our 4,000+ employees to drive engagement and a positive culture. Position Responsibilities:
- Support and execute plans to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture at the Mesa site. Organize a variety of employee activities from food and blood drives to speed mentoring to 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, aimed at offering a diverse set of engagement opportunities for our Mesa team.
- Maintain three major employee recognition systems—Instant Recognition, Event Ticket Recognition, and the Monthly Recognition Program. Manage nominations, metrics, communications, compliance, cross-functional approvals, and ethics reviews.
- Support planning and organizing large-scale events at Mesa site (e.g. Boeing Family Day, Site BBQs, etc), aimed at strengthening the connection between employees, their families, and the community.
- Effectively communicate and promote Mesa Site activities through use of plasma screens, site entry boards, and partnering with Site Communications to utilize BNN and weekly newsletters.
- Support Site Engagement Leadership meeting through integration and development of content, organizing recognition activities and presenting to leadership.
- Maintain Mesa’s central event calendar and serves as primary project manager for recurring and ad hoc engagement events
- Support Program milestones apparel design, sourcing, and distribution to employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years’ experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects
- 1+ years’ experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with stakeholders
- 1+ years’ experience developing presentations for and presenting to leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Self-motivated problem-solver who is comfortable with dynamic, fast paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication across diverse audiences
- Passionate about engaging our current employees

Summary Pay Range: $63,750 - $82,500
