Financial Advisor – Comerica Financial Advisors (Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC)
Locations: Bloomfield Hills, MI | Grosse Pointe Woods, MI
Comerica Financial Advisors, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, is seeking experienced Financial Advisors with a proven track record of business growth through referrals and other lead-generation strategies.
To qualify, candidates must have an existing book of business with annual GDC exceeding $200K.
As part of our team, you’ll have the flexibility to:
- Work independently within your own network, or
- Be assigned to multiple Comerica Bank branches for referral opportunities.
We welcome strong candidates from leading banks such as Chase, Huntington, Bank of America, Flagstar, and others who are ready to elevate their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment solutions to clients
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
- Prepare and review financial plans for accuracy and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3+ years in financial services)
- Advanced degrees or professional designations (CFP®, CFA®, etc.)
- Established network of personal and professional contacts for referrals
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
- Active regulatory licenses:
- FINRA Series 7
- State Securities (Series 63 or 66)
- State IAR (Series 65 or 66)
- State Life, Health Insurance & Variable Products
- Minimum 3 years of experience with a proven success record
- Strong relationship-building and client service skills
- Ability to work independently while keeping leadership informed
- Excellent financial, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
