Job Summary: We are hiring a Senior-level Engineer. In this role, you will showcase your range of expertise and skills to support significant continuity, watch operations and emergency management efforts within the IC. You will join our team which demonstrates familiarity with enterprise-wide issues and challenges facing the IC. Such enterprise-wide issues and challenges includes, but is not limited to, developing, exercising, and assessing continuity plans, 24/7 all source alert, warning and situational awareness, readiness response to crises, information technology disaster recovery, secure resilient communications platforms, and emergency management coordination.
Responsibilities include:
A combination of experience with and/or knowledge of the following is desired for this position:
- Draft and develop policy, procedures, or plans and coordinating IC execution of continuity capabilities.
- Provide guidance and support to business process and business impact analysis, risk management orders of succession, delegation of authority, devolution of control, alternate operating facility use, essential records management, emergency relocation group management and training
- Assessment and evaluation of national policy and plans governing and impacting continuity programs.
- Participate in exercises and drills.
- Draft, maintain, and update SOPs for all tasks and functions.
- Facilitate training programs.
- Program evaluation and assessment.
- Maintain and update a communication plan to ensure effective and secure communication with stakeholders.
- Test equipment and systems in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain systems to support Continuity of Government.
- Serve as a liaison with other operations centers executing responsibilities in accordance with established SOPs.
- Presenting complex issues in written and graphical forms; Conducting independent analysis with minimal government supervision and presenting results to government management in either written and/or oral format.
- Mentoring of subordinate personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- You will have familiarity with enterprise-wide issues and challenges facing the IC, draft and maintain policies, plans, and procedures that describe how the IC executes continuity capabilities to meet specified requirements, 24/7 all source alert, warning and situational awareness, readiness response to crises, information technology disaster recovery, secure resilient communications platforms, and emergency management coordination.
- You will possess professional certification and training such as: Certified Emergency Manager, Professional Continuity Practitioner Level 1 & Level 2, Master Exercise Practitioner, or related training (e.g., HSEEP, ICS 300-400).
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Knowledge of federal continuity program roles, responsibilities, plans and procedures, policies, and concepts as well as knowledge of IC elements and ODNI components missions and relationships. Valid state issued driver’s license; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Active TS/SCI w-Polygraph.
The candidate may be required to travel - up to 25%.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
