Description:The Strategy & Transformation Value Stream Lead plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement across the Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM) line of business. This position supports the deployment, sustainment, and governance of the Aero Operating Model (AOM), ensuring consistent execution of enterprise processes and performance standards. The Value Stream Lead partners closely with program teams, functional leaders, and senior leadership to manage key transformation initiatives, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and enable disciplined program performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Aero Operating Model (AOM) Implementation & Governance
-Lead and support AOM deployment activities across AMMM programs and functions.
-Monitor adherence to AOM standards, processes, and performance expectations.
-Provide coaching, documentation, and process guidance to ensure consistent execution.
Annual Improvement Plan (AIP) Management
-Coordinate development, tracking, and reporting of Annual Improvement Plans.
-Partner with program and functional owners to ensure progress, risk mitigation, and alignment with strategic objectives.
-Facilitate reviews and maintain AIP documentation and metrics.
COSMOS Project Management Tool Implementation & Training
-Serve as the AMMM focal point for COSMOS deployment, training, and user support.
-Drive consistent use of COSMOS across programs to improve planning, execution, and reporting.
-Develop training materials, conduct workshops, and support tool adoption.
Program Performance & Reporting
-Manage Investor Relations Report (IRR) inputs and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate requirements.
-Support Program Plan development, updates, and governance.
-Coordinate Internal Audit Report (INAR) findings, ensuring closure plans, tracking, and compliance.
OBEYA Room Facilitation & Management
-Lead the setup, operation, and sustainment of OBEYA rooms for program and value stream performance.
-Facilitate cross-functional discussions, cadence reviews, and visual management practices.
-Maintain OBEYA artifacts, metrics, and action logs.
General Strategy & Transformation Support
-Support enterprise and AMMM-level transformation initiatives as assigned.
-Provide structured problem-solving support using LM tools and methodologies.
-Perform additional administrative or coordination tasks as needed to support the Strategy & Transformation team.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher; or equivalent combined professional experience/education.
Experience with project management, process improvement, or program operations.
Experience working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
Desired Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Experience working within Lockheed Martin or another aerospace/defense environment.
Familiarity with the Aero Operating Model (AOM) or similar operational frameworks.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with COSMOS or other enterprise project management tools.
Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings, workshops, or OBEYA sessions.
Understanding of program performance metrics, Earned Value Management (EVM), or program planning.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights to leadership.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort engaging with all levels of the organization.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
