Description:The Strategy & Transformation Value Stream Analyst supports the execution of key operational excellence and transformation initiatives across the Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM) line of business. This role assists in implementing the Aero Operating Model (AOM), enabling consistent program performance, and driving continuous improvement activities. The analyst works closely with program teams, functional partners, and senior members of the Strategy & Transformation organization to ensure disciplined processes, accurate reporting, and effective use of enterprise tools.
This position is well‑suited for a motivated early‑career professional who enjoys structured problem solving, process discipline, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Aero Operating Model (AOM) Support
-Assist with AOM deployment activities across AMMM programs.
-Help monitor adherence to AOM processes and standards.
-Provide basic guidance, documentation updates, and coordination support.
Annual Improvement Plan (AIP) Coordination
-Support the collection, tracking, and reporting of Annual Improvement Plan actions.
-Maintain AIP documentation and assist with preparation for reviews.
-Coordinate with action owners to gather updates and status.
COSMOS Project Management Tool Support
-Assist with COSMOS training sessions, onboarding, and user support.
-Help maintain tool documentation and training materials.
-Support adoption and consistent use of COSMOS across AMMM programs.
Program Performance & Reporting Support
-Assist with Investor Relations Report (IRR) data collection and preparation.
-Support Program Plan updates and documentation.
-Track Internal Audit Report (INAR) findings and help coordinate closure activities.
OBEYA Room Support & Facilitation
-Help maintain OBEYA room visuals, metrics, and action logs.
-Support meeting facilitation, setup, and cadence reviews.
-Ensure materials are current, accurate, and aligned with program needs.
General Administrative & Transformation Support
-Provide coordination and administrative support for Strategy & Transformation initiatives.
-Assist with data collection, metric updates, and presentation development.
-Support additional tasks as assigned to enable AMMM transformation efforts.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher; or equivalent combination of experience/education.
Foundational understanding of project management or process improvement concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
Desired Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or related field; or equivalent experience or Equivalent professional work will be evaluated in lieu of bachelors degree
Experience in aerospace, defense, or a highly regulated industry.
Familiarity with the Aero Operating Model (AOM) or similar frameworks.
Exposure to project management tools such as COSMOS, Jira, or MS Project.
Experience supporting cross‑functional meetings or workshops.
Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
Ability to analyze data and prepare clear, concise summaries or presentations.
Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
