Description:You will be the Systems Engineer Senior for the Simulation Design team which is responsible for delivering high‑fidelity simulation solutions that enable customers to validate complex systems early in the development lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer you will be responsible for bridging stakeholder needs with technical execution, driving Agile Methodologies and Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, and ensuring that every design is verifiable and mission‑ready.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide systems engineering support across multiple projects, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs and project objectives.
- Support Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts on multiple projects.
- Generate, analyze, and manage customer and stakeholder requirements to inform system design and development.
- Create procedures for system verification to ensure designs meet operational needs.
- Participate actively in an agile development environment.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline. (preferred: Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering).
• Proficient in the full systems engineering lifecycle.
• Experience with system analysis, requirements decomposition, and/or requirements management (DOORS)
• Exceptional communicator who collaborates seamlessly with cross‑functional teams and customers.
• Active U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:• Experience with Verification Test Method definition and Test Procedure development
• MBSE experience using CAMEO
• Experience working on Agile teams
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with Jira
• Experience in Simulation
• Experience leading teams on projects with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
