Description:You will be the IRST Capacity Expansion Program Manager for the Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Capacity Expansion team. Our team is responsible for driving exponential growth in IRST production capacity to meet emerging mission needs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the IRST Capacity Expansion Program Manager you will be responsible for shaping and executing a multi‑site strategy that expands production capability up to five‑fold while maintaining affordability and producibility.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain capacity and production‑span models using advanced digital tools to support proposal and execution planning.
- Lead cross‑functional, multi‑site teams (Orlando, Ocala, Archbald, Santa Barbara, and the broader supply base) to identify and mitigate barriers to higher production rates.
- Design and implement risk‑based mitigation plans that address obsolescence, capability upgrades, and supply‑chain constraints.
- Coordinate with IRST program leads to integrate future configurations, second‑source options, and enhanced capabilities.
- Craft and drive capture strategies, securing stakeholder buy‑in and leading proposal negotiations within EPP authority.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:Leadership of cross-functional team with scope > $50M, with responsibility for quality/technical, schedule and cost performance
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Experience with product production rate increases
Experience in risk identification and management
Experience as a Proposal Manager (proposal prep, EPP, negotiations)
Strong problem solving skills
Quick learner
Proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction
Strong communication skills (verbal, written), demonstrated executive presence
Experience establishing strong customer relationships
Experience working with suppliers and subcontract management
Desired Skills:Experience leading subordinate leaders and developing talent (i.e. IPT leads)
Experience leading engineering change board (A-board),production status reviews (PSR) and corrective action board (CAB)
Experience working obsolescence issues/mitigations
Experience leading affordability initiatives
Demonstrated performance working with LMC and supplier production teams
Experience with configuration production cut-ins
Experience with LM capacity models and MRP systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
