TEAM OVERVIEW

KKR’s Technology, Engineering, and Data team is responsible for our technological foundation including our data platforms, AI initiatives, and critical integrations that accelerate our path to transformation. The Technology, Engineering, and Data team invests in new technology that will support and scale our business to create an intelligent, data centric culture. The team is also responsible for systems and tools that manage our investor contact data, permissions, and other content within our client-facing portal and support integrations that feed into those systems. The team consists of highly technical and skilled employees with the ability to form strong partnerships between technology and business segments.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Salesforce Architect to lead the design and governance of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role will be responsible for rearchitecting and leading the transformation of the existing implementation and play a key role in enabling AI-driven decision-making and service automation across Sales, Service and Data Clouds. As a Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible ensuring architectural integrity across the Salesforce ecosystem and serve as the technical authority on Salesforce capabilities, platform limitations and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions that align with business strategy and technical standards and ensuring ongoing architectural integrity.
Manage and optimize multi-org environments to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
Management of existing architecture across multiple applications sharing data in a single org environment and leading the rearchitecting and transformation to a scalable target architecture with a focus on Data Cloud, Einstein AI and Agentforce to deliver intelligent AI automation and insights capabilities.
Implement Einstein and Agentforce capabilities to support AI driven case resolution/inquiry management, predictive analytics, automated workflows and AI-enhanced user experiences.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into secure and scalable solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators on development standards, reusable component and scalable architecture.
Stay current on Salesforce innovation, product releases/features and architectural trends recommending adoption paths, assist driving innovation and leveraging new technologies effectively.
Lead platform governance, data modeling, performance optimization and compliance standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a similar role.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture principles, multi-org strategies and system design.
Experience working in multi-org environments and managing complex integrations, especially with AWS.
Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
Experience with Salesforce Clouds’ implementations – Sales, Service, Data, Experience and Platform.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other relevant Salesforce certifications.
Knowledge of additional Salesforce clouds and products.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
Prior experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment.

#LI-ONSITE

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

Base Salary Range

$150,000 - $190,000 USD
