We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Train Crew / Mechanical professional to join our team. Responsibilities
- Operate train equipment safely and efficiently according to company protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical components and air brake systems to identify potential issues
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on train systems as needed
- Assist with the setup and securing of cargo or passengers, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Monitor train operations during transit, communicating effectively with control centers
- Document maintenance activities and report any irregularities or safety concerns promptly
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience working with mechanical systems, preferably in transportation or railway environments
- Knowledge of air brake systems is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to train operations and maintenance
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Relevant certifications or training in railway operations or mechanical maintenance are a plus
