Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an F-15 Shipside Support Manager to join the F-15 Manufacturing Integration team in Berkeley, MO!
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Other Position Responsibilities may Include:
- Manage activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent operational issues and support implementation of strategies and plans
- Manage process assessments against standards, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Adapt effectively to changes in work tasks, structures, and culture while encouraging innovative problem-solving and facilitating change acceptance
- Plan and organize work by involving stakeholders, anticipating critical events, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
- Apply knowledge of an array of manufacturing and assembly processes, shop safety and quality standards to support operations
- Collaborate with various Operations and non-Operations departments to understand inter dependencies and drive effective outcomes
- Develop solutions for moderately complex problems by applying established policies, procedures, and best practices
- Represent the organization in interactions with internal teams and external customers on specific projects
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills are required to succeed in this position as well as presentation and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional groups in establishing and achieving common goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience with Boeing systems such as SAT, MESCI, & REDARS
- 1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Prior LSCC experience
- Previous experience on F-15 program
- Understanding of One BPS process and principles

Summary pay range: $111,350 - $150,650 USD
