- We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic that has the knowledge and leadership to help grow our business.
- Repairs and maintains all components in light, medium and heavy duty trucks
- Operate various manufacturer computer programs to run diagnostic tests.
- Handle road calls to repair vehicles on the road
- Repair and replace truck parts and components using, hand tools, pneumatic tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Must be able to lift Heavy equipment approx. 50lbs and more
- May weld and cut parts, using arc-welding and flame cutting equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks : rotating tires, changing engine oil, replacing oil and fuel filters, inflating tires, replacing worn brake pads and shoes, replace clutchs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license: CDL Preferred
- Diagnostics and repair of air and hydraulic brake systems, DEF and engine mechanical repairs.
- Accurately document work performed on repair orders.
- Certifications on either Isuzu or Hino products are a plus.
- State Inspection License (NJ) and/or DOT Inspection License (NJ,)
- Pay will be based upon 40 hours a week
- Diagnoses trouble codes, disassembles engines and other truck components, and examines parts for defects and excessive wear.
Salary: $30- $40.00 /hour

- Diesel Mechanic: 7-10 years
