Here's how you'll become a key player with this opportunity:
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of signage projects—from planning and coordination to installation and closeout. You’ll balance office-based project management with on-site field coordination, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Acting as the central point of contact, you’ll align clients, sales, production, installers, and contractors to drive successful outcomes.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
Manage a portfolio of signage projects ranging from single-site installs to complex, multi-phase rollouts.
Provide pre-sale and post-sale project support, including planning, scheduling, documentation, and budget tracking.
Serve as a field liaison as needed, supporting sequencing, issue resolution, and vendor oversight.
Lead project meetings (kickoffs, job reviews, WIP check-ins) and attend client/contractor meetings, occasionally onsite.
Coordinate permitting, engineering, surveys, site visits, subcontractors, and vendor logistics.
Oversee installation phases, conduct field walkthroughs, manage punch lists, and ensure quality control.
Prepare and manage work orders; complete technical reviews and work releases with design and operations.
Maintain accurate, real-time project tracking in KeyedIn (or similar system).
Align with operations and scheduling on timelines, materials readiness, and site coordination.
Approve fabricated signage prior to shipment and support invoicing and closeout documentation.
Provide professional written communications and regular project status updates.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in signage, construction, or a project-driven environment.
Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder, multi-phase projects.
Solid understanding of construction processes, jobsite logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
Strong communication, leadership, and time management skills with a proactive mindset.
Familiarity with permitting, engineering drawings, ADA compliance, and installation planning.
Proficiency with KeyedIn or comparable project management tools.
Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
Willingness to work onsite and travel regionally or nationally as needed.
Here’s what else might help you out:
End-to-end signage workflow experience (fabrication, permitting, installation).
Anticipating site logistics (cranes, lifts, access, safety).
Field walkthroughs, punch list management, and installation oversight.
Coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, and client teams.
