The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Network Firewall Engineer to join our IT security team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a passion for security and network infrastructure. You will assist in the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of firewall systems to ensure the integrity and security of our network.
What You'll Do:

Assist in configuring, deploying, and managing network firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco).

Monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential threats.

Support troubleshooting of firewall-related issues and network connectivity problems.

Collaborate with senior engineers to implement firewall rules and policies.

Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.

Document firewall configurations, changes, and incident responses.

Stay current with emerging threats and firewall technologies.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnets, routing, NAT).

Familiarity with firewall technologies and security principles.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
