Universal Pictures is an American film studio, owned by Comcast through its wholly owned subsidiary NBCUniversal, and is one of Hollywood's "Big Six" film studios. Universal Studios is a member of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).
Job Description
Your responsibilities may span the following areas:
- Work closely with Regional Marketing team to support the proper execution of film releases in markets across the region.
- Liaise with Home Office and licensee partners on marketing-related matters, not limited to campaign planning, publicity, and promotional activities.
- Service marketing assets and materials to partners, local offices, and vendors.
- Brief vendor and vet localisation work for pan-regional campaigns.
- Facilitate approvals of publicity and creative requests between local offices and Home Office.
- Manage and coordinate execution of Symphony initiatives between local markets and other lines of business for select theatrical releases.
- Consolidate campaign marketing reports during and after release.
- Support region’s merchandise needs including gathering & submission of orders, facilitating creative approvals, and managing delivery.
- Contribute insights and ideas in creative brainstorms for marketing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and prepare any ad-hoc reports as needed.
- General data and information gathering, collating, and reporting.
- Assist with presentation decks.
- Assist with administrative sales and distribution coordination as required.
- Ad-hoc administrative support as required such as travel management for the team.
Qualifications
Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from June 2026 to January 2027 for undergraduate students.
Basic Requirements:
- Passion for films, with a keen interest in functionalities of marketing for filmed entertainment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly meticulous and detailed oriented
- Able to take initiative, multi-task and work independently
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience or knowledge in marketing or relevant fields would be beneficial
- Interest in social media content and aware of latest social trends
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word; Photoshop will be a plus
