KBR, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Integrated Digital Environment manager to support the Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Division. You will be responsible for managing the Division’s integrated digital environment (IDE). As part of your duties, you will ensure ABMS product lines have access to an IDE that provides the tools necessary for them to complete their design, development, and sustainment tasks. Additionally, you will ensure the IDE provides the capabilities needed to manage their products throughout the acquisition lifecycle while maintaining configuration control over all end items. You will ensure the IDE provides opportunities to explore new concepts and refine requirements for modifications to existing products or the creation of new products through modeling, simulation, and analysis capabilities. Lastly, you will work with stakeholders both within and outside the Division to provide insight into each product line’s status via automated toolsets.
Key Responsibilities:
Align the IDE capabilities so that it can facilitate ABMS acquisition processes and house the resulting artifacts.
Advise the ABMS product lines on how best to align their contractor’s IDEs with the ABMS Division IDE to provide a singular authoritative source of truth for all ABMS product lines.
Provide subject matter expertise on using the IDE to accomplish product line design, development, and sustainment tasks.
Deliver training and awareness programs on how to use the IDE
Work Environment:
Location: Hybrid (60% on-site in Beavercreek, OH)
Travel Requirements: Low 0-20%
Working Hours: Standard – Core hours 0900 - 1500
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, math, or management.
Demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule and performance
Demonstrated ability to budget for and then execute funding
Demonstrated ability to manage system requirements
Familiarity with engineering tools and technologies commonly used in Air Force and DoD acquisition programs, such as model-based systems engineering, risk management, requirements management, project scheduling, modeling, simulation and analysis, and software backlog management tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to program managers, contractors, and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired:
Master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, math, or management
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Special Access and/or SCI programs.
Demonstrated ability to work well independently or as a team member.
Demonstrated ability to drive projects to closure and to assimilate and correlate project information in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with technical and non-technical project teams.
Experience establishing and/or managing a cloud-based integrated digital environment
Experience using one or more toolsets for the following functions:
Model-Based Systems Engineering (e.g. CAMEO, SPARX EA)
Requirements Management (e.g. DOORS)
Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (e.g. AFSIM, MATLAB)
Product Lifecycle Management (e.g. Siemens Team Center)
DEVSECOPS (e.g. GitHub)
