What You Will Do :
Issuing request for proposal (RFP) to suppliers and following up as required, analyzing quotes upon receipt in-order to ensure compliance to government regulations, public law, and Raytheon policies/procedures.
Compiling and analyzing supplier and other available data in-order to perform comprehensive price analyses.
Work complex competitions for the small dollar & high volume suppliers where criteria is lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) as well as Tradeoff Source Selection Process (TSSP) in support of proposal efforts.
Perform independent assessments of supplier reasonableness, working closely with functions from across the different strategic business units (SBU’s).
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires a BS/BA degree and a Min of 5 years of relevant work experience. Or a advanced degree and 3 years experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Experience issuing RFQs and receiving supplier data
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

Qualifications We Prefer:
Familiarity with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
Preferred major in Operations and Supply Chain Management
Ability to independently interact with proposal counterparts; other Supply Chain functions including the Material Program Manager (MPM), Commodity Sourcing Teams, Operations and Product Line Estimating and Pricing (E&P), Finance, Engineering, etc.
Ability to resolve conflicts and problems quickly and effectively while maintaining independence and ethical behavior.
Ability to work collaboratively, open to sharing ideas and listening to others, open to new ways to drive improvements within the supply chain area.
Experience utilizing appropriate analytical techniques to determine reasonableness of supplier proposals.
Excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills
Experience with MS Office Suite, with demonstrated expertise in MS Excel.
Ability to multitask & work well under pressure in dynamic environment.
Demonstrate self-starting, proactive characteristics including the ability to work with limited supervision and take ownership of a work scope with multiple, competing priorities.
Candidate should have an acute attention to detail for estimate development and review.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
