The 1LMX Deployment Center of Excellence is hiring an experienced Operational Change Lead to join our team to manage changes to our applications, ensuring that all changes are properly assessed, planned, implemented, and documented. This position will work closely with application owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure that changes are aligned with business objectives and are implemented with minimal disruption to services.
What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include the following:
1. Change Management Process:
• Managing the change management process for assigned applications, ensuring that all changes are properly documented, assessed, and approved.
• Coordinating with application owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that changes align with business objectives.
2. Change Assessment and Planning:
• Assessing changes for potential impact, risk, and complexity.
• Developing and maintaining change management plans, including risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
3. Change Implementation and Deployment:
• Coordinating with technical teams to ensure that changes are implemented correctly and on time.
• Verifying that changes are properly tested and validated before deployment.
4. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
• Communicating change plans and status to stakeholders, including application owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Ensuring that stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the change management process.
5. Change Review and Evaluation:
• Conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure that changes were successful and met business objectives.
• Identifying areas for improvement and implement changes to the change management process as needed.
6. Process Improvement:
• Identifying areas for improvement in the change management process and develop plans to implement these improvements.
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure that the change management process is integrated with other IT processes, such as incident management and problem management.
7. Compliance and Governance:
• Ensuring that all changes comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining accurate and complete records of changes, including documentation and audit trails.

While this role is fully remote, occasional travel may be required (~1-4x year)
Basic Qualifications:• Strong understanding of ITIL change management principles and best practices
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM)
• Experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of Agile principles and practices
• Experience with change management tools and software, such as ServiceNow
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to team across organizational boundaries and geographical locations to collaborate with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Desired Skills:• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Experience in IT with at least 2 years of experience in change management or a related field
• Experience using JIRA
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent
• Knowledge of Enterprise Operations business applications
• Experience with IT Service Management
• Experience with 1LMX

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $114,700 - $198,720. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
