About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Lead as part of Commercial Corporate & Investment Bank Technology (CCIBT) Infrastructure Director. This position will lead a team of engineers and ensure enterprise technology initiatives are tailored and optimized for CCIBT environments.
In this role, you will:- Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
- Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
- Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
- Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
- Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
- Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
- Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
- Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
- Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives.
- Define and lead detailed research for solutions requiring infrastructure engineering.
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions.
- Lead project or systems documentation and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables.
- Ensure communication and information flow between Infrastructure Engineering and other CCIBT Infrastructure teams.
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- 7+ years of infrastructure engineering
- 5+ years of DevOps tooling implementation and configuration
Desired Qualifications:- Proven ability to triage complex issues and drive resolution across multiple teams.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with an entrepreneurial mindset, create shared vision, inspire collaboration, and drive change
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed and complex environment.

- Excellent organizational skills
- 3+ years with Integrated Development Portals
- Familiarity with Ansible, Python, Terraform, Puppet, Chef
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple high priority, high complexity, and high-risk efforts simultaneously

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
