Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs efficiently and accurately
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Assist with vehicle inspections, safety checks, and preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures in a professional manner
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with strong automotive diagnostics skills
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience performing oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance
- Service technician experience is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
