Raytheon’s Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) directorate is seeking a Principal Logistics Specialist who will support logistics and sustainment activities across complex electronic systems. In this role, you will coordinate logistics products, develop and maintain technical documentation, ensure compliance with military standards, and support the creation of technical publications and training materials. You will work closely with engineering teams, manage data that informs sustainment planning, and participate in program and customer reviews to support overall system readiness. This is an onsite role in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do:

Influence Product Design for Supportability
-
Coordinate Logistics, Provisioning, Technical Publications, and Training System development efforts
-
Work with Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and other related disciplines to gather and create documentation on complex electronic systems

Interpret military specifications and plan compliant deliverable materials
-
Ensure Logistics Product Database (LPD) is accurate and compliant to latest engineering drawing and technical data package
-
Support development and revision of technical publications/Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals to meet program requirements and customer needs
-
Support quality assurance efforts, assemble documentation for audits and ensure that documentation is compliant with appropriate regulations

Manage, report, and consolidate various data points to track trends that help inform leadership of Sustainment activity

Present and participate in program reviews, external customer meetings and team status meetings
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
-
Coordinate logistics or sustainment activities, including provisioning data, technical publications, and training system materials.
-
Gather, interpret, and develop technical documentation for complex electronic or avionics systems in collaboration with engineering teams.

Interpret and apply military logistics standards such as MIL‑STD‑1388B, GEIA‑STD‑0007, TA‑STD‑0007, or equivalent Integrated Product Support guidance.
-
Experience maintaining or updating logistics databases or technical data repositories to reflect current engineering drawings, configuration baselines, or technical data packages.

Experience managing a team with cost and schedule requirements and/or Earned Value Management

Ability to prepare technical documentation, presentations, and other customer-facing materials

Create required documentation and deliver it within established deadlines.

Use HTML, XML, PDF tools, Eagle DB, Eagle Publishing Suite, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), or demonstrate the ability to learn these tools

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
