The Mechanical Engineer I will perform conceptual and detailed mechanical design of RF products/sub-systems, High Density Electronic packaging designs, Antennas, and Electronic components/devices for application in ground, sea, and air‐borne defense.

Responsibilities include the design of structures, mechanisms, thermal systems, and electronic enclosures. Candidate will be expected to follow established procedures and instructions while working closely with program/functional supervision to ensure the overall design objectives are met with the design.

Contacts are primarily with the immediate section manager, team lead, project leaders, and other personnel (peers) within the applicable program.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Experience in mechanical engineering design and product support through educational coursework or prior intern experience.

Experience with 3-D modeling and analysis using Creo or other tools.
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with M/S Office tools i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the mechanical engineering field and general knowledge of other related disciplines.

Knowledgeable in reading mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings.

Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) analysis for drawings.

Direct experience in developing detail mechanical designs and documentation packages for RF, Electronic and/or mechanical systems. Ability to draft communications, create, and deliver presentations. Ability to work independently and as a team member.

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
