Job Summary
Metro by T-Mobile is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Mobile Expert Associate to join our retail team in Twin Falls. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and communication, providing exceptional service to customers while promoting our latest products and services. The Mobile Expert Associate will be responsible for engaging customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Assist customers in selecting mobile devices, accessories, and plans tailored to their needs
- Conduct product demos to showcase device features and benefits effectively
- Upsell additional products and services to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales
- Manage POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Perform inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and stock rotation
- Educate customers on phone etiquette, plan options, and device troubleshooting
- Support store operations by assisting with cashiering duties and basic retail math calculations
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or grocery store environments preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products clearly
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math required
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos beneficial
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills necessary for engaging with customers
- Supervising experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for shifts as needed
