Pay: $28-32/hr

Responsibilities
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial door systems, including frames, hardware, closers, and related components
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, piping, valves, and mechanical components
- Troubleshoot and complete electrical repairs such as outlets, lighting, switches, and control components
- Perform advanced mechanical diagnostics to identify root causes and determine appropriate corrective actions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support repair and installation work
- Communicate clearly with customers and site contacts regarding work scope, findings, timelines, and recommendations
- Demonstrate sound judgment and awareness of what is appropriate in college or institutional environments, including occupied spaces
- Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and technical information related to equipment and systems
- Handle a heavy workload of service calls while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation
- Obtain customer approval or signatures on service reports as required
- Keep management informed of customer feedback, concerns, or site issues
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and departments as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of prior maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, construction, or general contracting environments
- Strong experience with door installation and repair, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license
- High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting schools, colleges, or other institutional facilities
- Background in construction or general contracting environments
