Leidos’ Defense Sector is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and mange defense related programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and lead critical initiatives that drive innovation, enhance operational readiness, and support national security objectives.

This position is contingent upon program award, anticipated late February to mid March.
This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Level of opportunity, including compensation, will be matched to a candidate’s experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex Army-related programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes
- Develop and implement program strategies aligned with military objectives and organizational goals
- Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including military personnel, contractors, and government agencies, fostering collaboration and clear communication
- Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure success.
- Ensure compliance with all application regulations, policies, and standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and accountability
- Prepare and deliver program reports, briefings, and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ or 8+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree with 3+ or 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Experience with program management and leading a team/project.
- Background in military service or experience within the defense contracting sector.
- Strong understanding of Army Operations, Protocols, and Standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record delivering results in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and impersonal abilities, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as MS Project or Agile frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree.
- PMP Certification or equivalent.
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes and program lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with military operational planning.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in defense, such as AI, cybersecurity, and advanced analytics .

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
