Join the team that enables the Connected Aviation ecosystem by providing ACARS Ground Station deployments and support. The ground station deployment team oversees the deployment of Aircraft Communications Addressing and Report System (ACARS) ground stations on the ARINC Global Network. This role requires a strong blend of project management expertise and technical proficiencies with networking technologies. A successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive stakeholder alignment and communication, and ensures proactive support of timely ground station deployments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Serve as the technical project lead for the deployment of ACARS stations within Connected Aviation.

Lead and deploy the ground station on the network infrastructure side of the project, with emphasis on networking technologies, IP addressing, technical troubleshooting.

Oversee comprehensive project planning, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.

Own the accuracy and organization of all project documentation.

Foster collaborative relationships with vendors and partners across the organization.

Ensure effective financial control of projects through management of quotes, purchase orders, and vendor obligations.

Anticipate and mitigate project risks, overseeing change management and issue escalation.

Collaborate in defining and documenting process improvements and solutions.

Responsible for creating ACARS station configurations, integrating the station into the network, and troubleshooting during the go-live phase of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

Proven track record in managing complex technical projects involving networking, circuits delivery, communication systems, or similar technologies.

Project Management certification or equivalent is preferred.

Infrastructure Project Management background: Telecommunications, Networking technologies, circuits delivery: MPLS, DIA, ACARS knowledge preferred.

Working with Datalink Communication is a plus

Familiarity with ACARS or other aircraft communications technologies.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for motivating with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
