Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management methodologies, program development, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving project success through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder communication, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe frameworks.
Duties
- Lead the entire project management lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope management, schedule development using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform requirements analysis to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Manage project scope changes through formal change management processes and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct risk management activities including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and monitoring using tools like risk registers or PPM software.
- Utilize data analysis skills for project performance tracking via earned value management (EVM) techniques.
- Implement process improvements through Lean Six Sigma principles, Kaizen events, and continuous process mapping to enhance efficiency.
- Lead program development initiatives including program design, portfolio management, and program coordination across multiple projects.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levels to communicate project status, issues, and risks effectively using presentation skills.
- Ensure quality management standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle by applying PMBOK guidelines or equivalent methodologies.
- Manage project documentation using SharePoint or Confluence for knowledge sharing and version control.
Skills
- Proven experience in project management with a solid understanding of project management methodology, including PMBOK or PRINCE2 frameworks.
- Strong expertise in change management, risk management, scope management, cost control, and time management.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or equivalent software.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks like SAFe, Scrum (Jira), Kanban (Trello), and Waterfall methodologies for flexible project execution.
- Experience with program development, product lifecycle management, and IT infrastructure projects involving ERP systems or content management systems.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with demonstrated success in team management and conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection/analysis using SAS or similar tools; adept at root cause analysis and process improvement techniques like Lean Six Sigma.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement, technical writing, and presentation delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of quality through tools like ServiceNow or Project Server.
