You will aid in the development of those products and solutions in our Missiles and Fire Control business area in Camden, Arkansas.
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Associate for our HIMARS Launcher program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
What you will be doing:
• Planning and improving manufacturing procedures and operations.
• Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
• Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo PTC / SolidWorks.
• Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
• Designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in an Mechanical or Industrial Engineering field from an accredited college.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:• Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical
design, engineering materials, general manufacturing / integration processes.
• Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, Creo PTC, or
SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Troubleshooting production issues using failure
mode effects and analysis (FMEA), root cause
analysis, and implementing corrective actions (RC/
CA).
• Developing and maintaining Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions and Bill of
Materials (BoM).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
