Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Description
- Support supply chain optimization for new and existing products through end-to-end ownership in a cross-functional setting.
- Assist in cross-functional team meetings and generate meeting minutes.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to determine root cause, develop mitigations and corrective and preventative actions for supply chain related issues.
- Evaluate products and processes to identify improvements for quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Exercise judgment, with guidance, within generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for problem solving.
- Ensure project deliverables meet applicable standards, regulations, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Examples of Actions & Milestones:
- Prepare BOMs into manufacturing-level detail (start with top-level drawings, then go through sub-assemblies. If any BOMs cannot be put together, work with Source to see if supplier will provide BOM breakdown)
- Organize BOMs in spreadsheet format required for Silicon Expert (Materials Risk Management team will manage upload)
- Support portfolio management leader with weekly reports including finance data for leaders
- Support data gathering for the various initiatives across the site
- Align, inspire, and engage cross-functional team members in each project with a one team, one-win mindset.
- Support meetings with all involved cross-functional stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and prevent production issues.
- Support project management activities by tracking progress and ensuring timely execution.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing supply chain data to support informed decision-making.
- Assist in developing and updating supply chain documentation and business excellence .
- Support DePuy Synthes Credo activities by engaging in local community events and charities, fostering a credo-based culture.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and active in a University Degree and with a graduation date after the completion of the contract end date.
- Permanently authorized to work in the US
- Majors include Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance
- Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau, ERP Systems, Salesforce, Solidworks
