In this role you’ll be …an integral part of Markem-Imaje’s Product Development team, accountable for the cross-functional project development activities from technical and commercial feasibility to qualified prototypes to full commercial and industrial launch of innovative, new product to market.

You should possess … Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of Product Development experience and 2 years of end-to-end Product Development Program Management experience.
Job Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the delivery of technical and commercially viable solutions to ensure that the products are available for manufacture and sale in line with business priorities, quality, timeline, and cost objectives.
• Deliver projects through all the development activities including the specification, design, integration, verification, qualification, industrialization, field trial and launch.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure the appropriate level of technology readiness and risk levels prior to initiation and during the phases of the product development projects.
• Drive a process to validate project specifications with all stakeholders prior to initiating the design phase.
• Develop and demonstrate a robust project plan aligned with feature requirements, project budget and timeline.
• Identify and provide leadership to resolve project execution challenges
• Ensure delivery of projects aligned to the project budgeted resources and expenses during the development phases.
• Lead the execution of the necessary partnership and supplier agreements, including governance agreements and subsequent performance management.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and industry-related work experience required.
• Formal project management training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ experience providing project leadership
• Experience in the development of complex electro-mechanical products working in collaboration with embedded software, chemistry, on complex hydraulics systems is preferred.
• Experience in an international company, both related to the markets and customers served and the locations in which products are developed.
• Experience in matrix oriented organizational models
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, team leadership and engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
