This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
As a Customer Account Specialist for JD Financial Worldwide Headquarters, you will:
- Use telephone negotiating techniques to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Review payment history and account information. Update/confirm debtor information.
- Negotiate payment plan modifications according to established policies and procedures.
- Administer collection efforts within federal and state regulations and company policy.

- Experience working in a call center or related customer service environment.
- Ability to remain seated for long periods of time to perform telephone work in a call center environment.
- Experience managing multiple tasks for multiple products using various systems and processes.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Experience building strong working relationships to resolve customer inquiries.
- Effective problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong computer aptitude with the ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
- Experience in customer service or collections in a financial environment.
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree or related experience.
