Basic Job Functions:
The role of District Sales Manager includes but is not limited to coordinating Sheet Mill Group production to maximize Nucor’s profitability by working with Sales, Production, Management and Metallurgical teammates to sell and service our Midwest/Midsouth Sheet Mill Group customers. This position requires extensive travel to manage and service our customers.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical or related field OR minimum of four years of sales experience
- Willing to relocate to Dallas, Texas or surrounding area
- Able to engage in overnight travel on a weekly basis
- Minimum two years experience in the steel industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outside sheet products sales experience
