What You Will Do
As the Manager of Quality Systems and Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our Aftermarket Operations meet the highest internal and regulatory standards. You will serve as a subject matter expert, managing complex quality projects and providing critical oversight for the Quality Management System (QMS). This role offers the opportunity to influence policy, coach rising professionals, and serve as a key liaison with global governing agencies to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
This is a sensitive position in accordance with FAA guidelines. Candidates will be subject to a drug and alcohol testing program, which includes pre-employment testing and random testing.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze and implement procedures and metrics to support compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Provide expert research and guidance on policies, government regulations, and agency guidelines.

Lead the implementation of quality tools and methods to sustain improvements in performance and process effectiveness.

Manage quality compliance audit processes, providing comprehensive guidance to auditors at all stages.

Oversee organizational projects to ensure the achievement of both immediate and long-term quality targets.

Serve as a primary liaison with the FAA, CAAC, and other governing agencies, managing VDRP and portal access.

Facilitate RCAB and support ODA and PL4 audit capabilities.

Act as the Aftermarket Webmaster for Repair Station Procedures, SharePoint, and Enginewise platforms.

English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR an Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Technical School Diploma / specialized Military training and 12+ years of relevant industry experience. Relevant experience must be in Quality, Engineering, Regulatory Compliance, or Operations within Aviation, Aerospace, Defense, Space, Automotive, or other regulated industry.

Knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as AS9100 or ISO9001.
-
Experience leading internal audits, including managing findings through to closure.

Experience leading FAA or CAAC regulatory audits.
Qualifications We Prefer
-
Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).

ASQ-CQE certification.
-
Certified auditor and/or experience with AS9100, AS9102, or ISO9001 QMS systems.
-
Quality FAA repairman certificate (stamp holder) and experience managing certification processes for other employees.
-
Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement projects and applying Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma, QCPC, and RCCA).

Working knowledge of MRO operations, shop practices, and quality standards in an aerospace engine overhaul and repair environment.
-
Experience with Quality Notifications, Material Review Board (MRB), variation control, and closure.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage quality clinics or other projects effectively.
-
Experience working with Microsoft Office, SAP ERP, Solumina, and Teamcenter systems.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
