Our global Connected Aviation Design Quality Assurance team is seeking a Program Quality Engineer to implement and support the Airports team through program lifecycles, and ensure that products and processes are compliant with program, company, and regulatory standards. As a key member of the global Airports team, you will be the quality Point of Contact (POC) and will be engaged in auditing, proposal development, and execution activities.
What You Will Do:
-
Provide Quality solutions including Basis of Estimates for proposals (when required)
-
Provide program direction to assure quality tasking is accomplished on time.
-
Identify Quality risks and opportunities; provide and execute plans for mitigation.
-
Partner with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure program requirements are identified and flowed to suppliers
-
Ensure actions to address critical program performance and compliance to requirements have been effectively implemented.

Review and provide quality support and updates on purchase orders including Statement of Work, revisions, and other items as applicable.

Support & Coordinate ISO 9001 audit activities for various sites within the Connected Aviation portfolio
-
Lead and manage the Airport's portfolio efforts toward maintaining ISO certification and scope extensions
-
Build relations with Quality or equivalent customer;
-
Lead multi-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement activities using CORE
-
Monitor corrective actions and facilitate effective Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to prevent recurrence of nonconformances
-
Travel to support audits may be required (~15%)
-
Non-standard work hours may be needed occasionally to support program needs
Qualifications You Must Have :
-
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
-
Prior program experience across full program lifecycle
-
Experience in supporting proposals and bidding inputs for Quality or other functional organization
-
Experience with Microsoft office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience
-
Experience with ISO 9001 audits
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in engineering processes, in systems engineering or quality, or related fields
-
Independent, self-motivated individual with demonstrated success in leading teams
-
CORE Apprentice or Six Sigma Certification
-
Proven ability as BOE Writer and Approver
-
Strong presentation skills and proven success communicating at all levels

Lead auditor experience

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
