Where You Will Work
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you’ll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

Description
Responsible for domestic workflows to ensure payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately. Responsible for researching, analyzing and resolving all discrepancies and reporting to management as needed. Required to have specialized knowledge of US payroll taxation, internal policies and payroll laws and regulations. Accountable for excellent customer service to the global employee population, domestic job site, and all internal HR departments. Demonstrate respect for client privacy. Assists management with projects, inquiries, reporting and testing. Conduct annual reporting and responsible for year-end assistance.
- Processes executive compensation payrolls, highly sensitive and confidential ancillary transactions, including but not limited to NOLA payroll areas, Oil & Gas, equity compensation, bonuses and legal disbursements, etc. Also serves as back up for the complex international payrolls, including Australia in AUD, PTFI National Directors and Expatriate transactions.
- Perform special reporting for multiple departments, including but not limited to Officers compensation, Severance, Workers' Compensation, etc., building business support models and through collaboration. Additional analysis, reconciliation and independent review/confirmation is required.
- Responsible for processing Bi-weekly, Semi-monthly and Monthly payrolls for locations across the U.S. using the payroll system SAP/SucessFactors. Using attention to detail, analytical thinking and a proactive nature, they ensure all processes are flowing as normal and inline with payroll requirements. Prepares monthly, quarter end, year end tax reporting. Gathers business requirements, defines new processes, maps new earnings/deductions codes. Makes system changes, updates configurations and performs testing in various systems.
- Assists and completes payroll research, tax research, audit review, leadership queries, and new tax set up, while keeping abreast of tax law changes and understand implications to the company. Motivate the team through support, application of technical and leadership skills, prioritizing business objectives. Exhibit Freeport Edge behaviors.
- Calculates other special benefit adjustments including gross-ups, financial planning, third party sick, CIGNA, Est Enhancement, etc., delivering strategic objectives through appropriate processes and tools.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Four (4) years of experience in payroll, accounting, analytical or other related field OR
- Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year payroll, tax and accounting experience
- Experience with year-end processing

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently
$27.00 - $37.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
