Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Production Specialist (Investigations) to join our Supplier Quality Investigations Team onsite in Renton, Washington.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Quality Production Specialist.
Position Responsibilities:
- Investigate supplier Notices of Investigation (NoIs) and Notices of Escapement (NoEs) in order to document and control supplier quality escapements which enter the Boeing Production System
- Reviews and validates supplier product quality escapements, including non-conformances, non-compliances, and engineering requirements issues
- Reviews and validates supplier inventory shipped to Boeing to identify shipment of nonconforming product
- Coordinates review with Boeing Engineering, Program Quality, and Supplier representatives to implement disposition for nonconforming parts
- Performs root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrence
- Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes
- Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution
- Reviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes
- Guides validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the software products
- Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements
- Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation. Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution. Works under general direction

- Train and mentor team members on the Quality Management System
- Perform root cause analysis on nonconformances to identify causes and prevent recurrence
- Develop, modify, and document actions to resolve problems and implement corrective/preventive measures
- Negotiate and obtain commitments for preventive and corrective actions, prioritizing quality activities
- Review and approve changes to quality plans and the disposition of nonconforming products
- Guide the validation of configuration management, quality procedures, and material review policies
- Implement corrective actions based on audit results to ensure compliance with engineering requirements
- Interpret industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation
- Create analytical reports and coordinate with responsible parties for distribution
- Work independently while following general guidance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality role
- 3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience interfacing with suppliers
- 1+ years of experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM)

Summary Pay Range (Level 2) : $76,500 – 103,500
Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $95,200 - $128,800
