Responsible for the E*TRADE retail education team as well as financial products including equities, options, futures, fixed income & more. Backend Roadmap Ownership: Own the backend product roadmap in alignment with the overall product strategy and company goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize features around business priorities. Work with various stakeholders through the agile framework to fix existing issues and/or bring new initiatives to light Work with technology partners to ensure backend systems are scalable, reliable, and meet performance expectations. Work with the scrum team to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize backend processes. Work with the risk and engineering teams to implement security best practices for data protection, authentication, and authorization. Stay informed about industry standards and compliance requirements. Understand the intricacies of backend technologies, databases, APIs, and other infrastructure components. Work closely with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into actionable tasks. Provide product support to research and resolve complex issues. Experience: 2-5 yrs previous experience as a product manager or equivalent role, with a focus on backend systems. Education: Bachelor's Degree Technical Background: 2+ yrs working with backend technologies, APIs, databases, and cloud services. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and work with the scrum team to propose effective solutions. Salary range for the position: $85,000 and $140,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
