MISS: Operations Manager (Contingency Hire)

The MISS program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at supporting the US Department of State’s operations in Iraq. In addition to providing ongoing base operations and Life Support Services, KBR will provide differentiated advisory and consultancy capabilities to the Iraqi Government with a focus on creating an effective program environment to support delivery of strategic economic planning, strategy development, feasibility studies, technicalreviewsand large-scale project management. Under thiscontractKBR will provide facility maintenance, procurement, critical supply functions, along withfood service, base camp operations, renovations, construction, and medical services.
The PRCProjectManager Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC)is responsible forthe overall execution, management, and oversight of all Preventive and Repair Construction (PRC) services performed under the Task Orderat the BEC.Work closely with theTOPRC Managerin synchronization planning and execution of all TO PRC projects at the BEC. Through coordination with the TO PRC Manager,serves as the primary authority forthe BECPRC planning, estimating, scheduling, execution, reporting, and closeout, ensuring full compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), U.S. standards, and government direction.
U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance arerequired.
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee development of PRC project estimatesat the BEC, including labor categories, materials, subcontracting, schedules, and complete SOWs.
Ensureall documentation, cost reports, schedules, and CMMS updates are complete andaccurateprior tocloseout.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+years experiencein construction or facilities project management, including light construction, refurbishment, and facility/system replacement projectswith four3+)years experienceinprojectmanagement positions
