Job Summary
Opportunity to play a vital role in overseeing data management processes within Hilton Supply Management's (HSM) Reporting Application team. You will be ensuring data integrity and supporting critical data-related initiatives that drive business success. Working in a collaborative environment, you will partner with various teams to define data standards, monitor data quality, and implement best practices that enhance organizational efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can serve as a knowledge specialist while maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and reliability across multiple systems and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the knowledge specialist for products, suppliers, and other business-facing data
- Collect and organize data from multiple sources while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Identify data gaps and take proactive actions to address them
- Maintain and update the Data Dictionary to ensure current and accurate information
- Review Brand Standards Guide documents and convert product data into standardized data templates
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, definitions, and processes
- Develop a thorough understanding of data processes and overall data flow between HSM systems
- Examine system data mapping, profile the data, and provide recommendations on appropriate mappings
- Engage with business and data stakeholders to resolve questions or issues in a timely manner
- Assist with defining success criteria and metrics for ongoing monitoring of data quality
- Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data from the data warehouse
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of all data
- Facilitate the integration of data from various sources, ensuring consistency and coherence

Previous Experience
- One to two years of data stewardship, data analysis, or related experience preferred
- One year experience in any Master Data Management tool such as Informatica preferred
- One to two years of experience in Microsoft SQL preferred
