Job Description
NBCU Advertising & Partnerships Center of Excellence (CoE) is looking for a Director who will lead our transformation projects as well our industry and NBCU product-specific training. The CoE team partners directly with the division’s leadership team as a trusted advisor, focused on upskilling our workforce and optimizing internal business operations. This is a high-impact role, collaborating with many cross-functional teams with constantly evolving priorities and demands. You will think strategically, arrive at a focused execution plan, and lead the plan to fruition.
The CoE helps teams drive internal effectiveness and new initiatives forward by aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and we help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives..
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consult with internal divisions, understand their needs for process efficiencies, employee upskilling on key business initiatives or systems strategies, and helps develop programs, training, and tools that will spark immediate impact
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, creating a consistent enterprise approach across the division
- Provide consultative services to the business functions regarding learning methods and tools and best approach to deliver information or train cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with multiple distinct functions across the division to identify best-in-class knowledge and develop new means for distribution across the division
- Work effectively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and team members to develop training materials, visual toolkits, and eLearning modules
- Network with industry organizations to development programs for our employees that will ensure we continue to be the best-in-class media sales organization
- Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes
- Design, deliver and analyze data from employees, management and existing or past program evaluations
- Create executive-level summaries and reports of programs and courses to present to senior leadership
- Manage multiple employees
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles
- Significant experience in developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to capture data for decision-making through data visualization and strategic communication
- Demonstrated ability to understand people and process issues impacting the business and develop both strategic and tactical solutions to tangible business challenges
- Experience in all aspects of an L&D function, including needs assessment, designing and delivering training, and evaluating its effectiveness
- Industry knowledge - Understanding the Media Sales landscape, marketing and sales process is a requirement for the role
- Significant experience working with executive stakeholders

- Ability to effectively use Microsoft 365 including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Copilot
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
Salary range: $120,000 - $175,000 (bonus eligible + long term incentive eligible)
