This position is the Flight Test Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Stingray program. The Stingray Flight Test IPT Lead will report to the Test & Evaluation (T&E) Senior Manager in Marietta, GA. The selected candidate will be the primary point of contact for T&E with Stingray program management, the customer and the end user. Primary tasks will include working with the customer and the end user in defining the scope of the test program and instrumentation requirements, ensuring adherence to the program schedule, and ensuring overall T&E program execution. In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for Control Account Management (CAM) activities, which includes conducting Earned Value (EV) and variance analysis, developing monthly Estimates To Completes (ETC), monitoring EV health metrics, and ensuring the cost and schedule performance throughout the lifecycle of T&E contractual tasks. The IPT Lead is expected to take a proactive approach to identify and resolve performance issues, and ensure the on time completion of T&E milestones and contractual deliveries.
This individual must have knowledge of the operations at the Marietta site, particularly with T&E activities. A general knowledge of past C-130J testing that has been accomplished will also be needed for the candidate to be successful. This individual must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and must be able to effectively and calmly interact with other internal organizations, external companies, and USG customers in order to define and execute a successful test program. Must be extremely organized, reliable, and able to successfully multi-task and perform within the high octane, dynamic Flight Test environment.
Some travel will be required to support working groups with the customer and end user.
This position requires a Top Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering from an accredited college.
• Experience as a CAM and/or with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to brief Program leadership and customers.
• Experience in Project Management or as a Project lead, leading program execution.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal management oversight.
• Flight Test experience, including planning a flight test program.
• Experience with aircraft test operations at the Marietta site.
• Knowledge and experience with historical C-130J flight tests.
• A current Secret clearance with the ability to get a Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:• CAM certification with experience at DFAR level.
• Experience/familiarization with C-130J aircraft.
• Must have a personality and demeanor to handle the highly dynamic environment of flight test, including the always-changing dates and priorities.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
