The Business Development Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the accuracy, interpretation, and reporting of business development (BD) data to help drive achievement of BD metrics within a Business Area. This role supports day-to-day BD operations by managing recurring and ad hoc tasks, maintaining data integrity, and coordinating key BD processes and reporting activities.
The Analyst ensures BD data accuracy within WinIt, supports reconciliations with contracts and finance, facilitates monthly Business Area pipeline reviews, and assists with execution of the Gate Review Process. Additional responsibilities include Closest-to-the-Pin (CTTP) updates, tracking wins and losses, coordination of Business Area trade show activities, consolidation and dissemination of weekly 5x15 inputs, and development of BD scorecards and reports. The role also supports establishment of charge numbers and IWOs and partners with Intel Group or Business Area power users to ensure CRM data accuracy and compliance with established BD processes.
The Business Development Operations Analyst works collaboratively within the Business Area and across supporting functions to ensure BD actions are tracked, executed, and closed. The Analyst provides routine and ad hoc operational support to Business Area BD leadership, capture managers, operations managers, and BD staff. Success in this role requires the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and proactively identify opportunities to improve BD operational effectiveness. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are essential. This position can be supported working remotely.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support business development planning activities, including scheduling and assisting with pipeline reviews, gate reviews, and weekly and monthly BD reporting.
- Monitor the Business Area pipeline, submissions, and awards; produce recurring reports and scorecards used by Business Area leadership.
- Ensure opportunity and pipeline data accuracy in WinIt and coordinate with power users to resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Track BD-related action items and coordinate with responsible owners to ensure timely closure.
- Maintain and update data in CRM tools and support adoption through dashboards, reports, and standard views.
- Coordinate Business Area–supported trade shows in partnership with operations, marketing, and communications teams to ensure successful execution.
- Support reconciliation activities and assist Operations with award and pipeline reconciliation efforts.
- Collect inputs and support preparation of weekly 5x15 reporting for the Business Area.
- Support the IWO and charge number workflow process, including B&P and marketing-related charge numbers.
- Gather CTTP inputs and assist with preparation of Business Area-level CTTP reporting.
- Participate in working groups related to BD tools, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Business Area interests in BD-related forums as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience.
- Experience supporting business development operations, pipeline management, or capture support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and analysis; experience using WinIt or similar CRM systems.
- Experience coordinating trade show or external engagement activities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to coordinate actions across BD, operations, and support teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or federal government customers.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while building effective working relationships across the Business Area.
- Experience with CRM reporting, dashboards, and data governance.
- An active or eligible security clearance is highly desired

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
