The Team:
In HP Digital Products, we are looking for a creative, curious AI Product Experience Design Intern to help shape how users experience AI-powered products. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, design, and AI technology, focusing on building intuitive, human-centered experiences across intelligent systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, product managers, engineers, and designers to define AI-driven product concepts and user experiences
- Translate user needs into experience flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models
- Contribute to product discovery, user research synthesis, and experience validation
- Help design human-AI interactions that are ethical, explainable, and trustworthy
- Support rapid experimentation, prototyping, and iteration across AI product features
Education and Experience Required:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year college and completed first year of master level degree. Returning to school following the internship and graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 202X, and not require sponsorship in the future.
- Background or coursework in UX/UI, Product Design, or related fields
- Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and intelligent systems
- Strong curiosity about how people interact with products and technology
- Ability to think in systems, journeys, and experiences—not just screens
- Strong communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills

The pay range for this position is $28 to $37 per hour (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
