RTX Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with demonstrated project management skills who will be closely accountable for ensuring supplier performance. You must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program goals, and must be able to successfully interface with varying levels of management.
The Material Program Manager will play a critical role within the Supply Chain organization, focusing on material management to ensure the seamless flow of materials and components to meet program and production schedules in support of Patriot BMC4I Launcher portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations, material planning, and supplier coordination, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What You Will Do:

Oversee and manage the planning, procurement, and flow of materials to support production and program schedules.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management) to ensure material availability aligns with project requirements.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize material costs while ensuring on-time delivery.

Partner with suppliers domestically and internationally to establish strong relationships, negotiate delivery schedules, and resolve any material-related issues.

Analyze material demand forecasts and perform capacity planning to meet both short-term and long-term program objectives.

Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to address potential disruptions.

Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and contractual obligations related to material acquisition and handling.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices within the supply chain organization.

Ability to travel up to 25% domestically as required
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Experience in MRP/ERP including but not limited to, PRISM and SAP.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Proven Practical Experience in SAP/PRISM
-
Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry

Ability to balance reasonable thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs

Experience with MS Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel and Project).

Working experience as a Cost Account Manager
-
Experience with proposal efforts
-
Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent.

Experience implementing continuous improvement, Six Sigma or Lean methodologies/principals

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
