Salary: £40,900
Contract: Full time & permanent
Location: Stockton, Country Durham
The Opportunity
As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in driving a safe, high‑performing operation where your team delivers quality fabricated products on time. You’ll lead daily activity, support your people and champion continuous improvement to keep performance moving forward.
What You Will Do:
As Manufacturing Team Leader, your accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead by example in safety, promoting a Stop to Fix culture and using Speak Up, Listen Up to maintain a proactive, Safety‑Driven environment.
Monitor Health & Safety, People, Quality, Velocity and Cost metrics in line with CPS standards.
Lead and support Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs) to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
Run daily start‑of‑shift meetings and resolve safety, quality, staffing and production issues quickly.
Communicate clearly across departments to maintain smooth and aligned operations.
Plan proactively for upcoming staffing, quality, safety and production needs.
Coach, motivate and develop your team, maintaining an accurate skills matrix.

What You May Have:
Problem Solving: Use lean tools to continually highlight and improve area processes
Manufacturing: Skilled understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes, with the ability to guide, support and problem‑solve within a production environment.
