Job Title: Strategy Manager
Salary/Grade: £67,569 - £84,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Larne
Benefits:
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Up to 31% bonus
Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 6%
Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

This position requires 4.5 days a week in the office.

The opportunity
Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division has an exciting opportunity as a Strategy Manager. The Strategy Manager will lead multiple initiatives to understand, analyze, develop and produce insights on the Large Electric Power business to create the strategy for the future. What you will do:
Leads cross-functional collaboration with business partners across the organization and outside consultants to gain industry trends and collect voice of the customer and voice of the business to propose ideas for business growth.
Manages metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools in place to monitor performance and develop processes to drive the strategies across Large Electric Power Systems (LEPS) and supporting organizations.
Gather information and assess the market including competitive issues, market dynamics, geo political, leading indicators and service needs to develop strategies for the LEPS business to be market leaders.
Produce detailed insights, develop and track actions to deliver strategies to grow profitably across all LEPS businesses.
Present business cases and insights to executive leadership.

Ability to facilitate the right products and/or services in power generation and engine industries to resolve customer business issues.

Proven capability to collect, analyze, and synthesize information across competitive landscapes, market dynamics, geopolitical factors, leading indicators, and industry trends.
Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, metrics, and management tools to monitor performance, enable decision‑making, and track strategic progress.
Ability to convert complex data into clear insights and actionable business strategies.
Effective Communications:
Skilled in presenting data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and business cases to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to translate technical, market, and performance information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Ability to communicate across the business with stakeholders across all levels.
Relationship Management:
Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across multiple business areas and working effectively with external consultants, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to influence, build trust, and facilitate alignment around strategic priorities.
Strategic Thinking:
Demonstrated capability to assess markets, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategies that position the business as a market leader.
