Designation: Senior UX Designer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Drive the UX strategy for digital products, ensuring solutions are usable, intuitive, consistent, and delightful—while balancing business goals and time-to-market. Be responsible for the delivery, quality, and success of user experience for major product modules across their lifecycle, including optimization and innovation.
- Collaborate closely within an agile product team (PMs, engineers, UX peers) to deliver world-class product experiences through iterative releases. Work with business owners, engineering managers, and UX leadership to evaluate success criteria and prioritize roadmaps, balancing short-term delivery with long-term experience goals.
- Serve as the senior design resource on projects, mentoring and guiding junior designers/analysts. Present design methods, explorations, trade-off rationale, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Evaluate competitive and innovative products to identify best practices and encourage innovation. Facilitate brainstorming and design workshops with cross-functional teams.
- Drive last-mile adoption of solutions by supporting enablement activities (user guides, posters, videos, and workshops). Promote the sharing of best practices across Dover Digital and operating companies.
Must have skills:
- To be a successful Senior/Lead UX/Designer, you must be a well-rounded design thinker, grounded in logic, structure, and process, with a flair for visual and emotional solutions. You should have a passion for experimentation and a strong drive to deliver quickly. You must have:
- Proven experience in leading the design, architecture, and optimization of websites and/or applications, particularly customer facing data or process visualization-centric applications. Strong expertise in user-centered design, usability, and interaction design principles. Ability to conceive and document solutions through user flows, storyboards, wireframes, personas, prototypes, test cases, specifications, and user stories. Ability to articulate creative interactive solutions clearly to stakeholders. Solid understanding of visual design principles: typography, layout and composition, color theory, grid systems, and imagery.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to change quickly, and drive clarity, actions, and decisions. Advanced proficiency in Figma, with experience in creating and maintaining design libraries/design systems. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with prototyping/collaboration tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin.
- Awareness of HTML, CSS (SCSS), responsive frameworks, iOS/Android guidelines. A strong portfolio showcasing delightful, useful, and scalable user experience solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
