Raytheon’s Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), White Sands, NM is searching for a qualified Principal Systems Engineer to join the Data Services team to support program test operations, data collection, and analysis activities. This includes leading a team and multi-tasking several activities in a team environment. Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined SI&T engineers and customer teams executing our test events. This position is an onsite role at WSMR in White Sands, NM.
What You Will Do
-
Perform analysis and problem-solving of systems issues real-time.

Work in a team environment and directly interface with customers and management across multiple disciplines.

Support system performance analysis, and Integration and Test.

Mentor and guide team members, including engagement of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Act as the main point of contact for executing the daily plan for their site.

Creating the daily status for the site.
-
Responsible for briefing the customer representatives on the progress of the objectives throughout the day, as well as near-term plans.

Assist in the maintenance actions, provide guidance to the maintenance team and address any issues that may arise during the maintenance action in real time.

Coordinate upcoming software build staging and installs.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.

Experience presenting analytical and technical presentations.

Experience in leading teams, coordinate, and execute remote site test operations.
Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in a rapid paced and dynamic test environment.

Ability to analyze and problem solve in real time.

Experience with scripting

Experience with MATLAB and data analysis

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
