As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be responsible for crafting and producing Graphic Design assets from concept to final artwork. If selected, you will focus on the creative style guide development for Parks and Consumer Products. We build graphic design and character art for Style Guides used for park merchandise. You may get to craft art for all the Disney, Star Wars, Pixar, and even Marvel stories that will build tangible memories for our park guests!
What You Will Do
This position places a strong emphasis on typography, color narrative, and visual composition. Ideal candidates bring confidence in working with type, including the ability to craft and develop original typographic solutions.
Supporting illustration skills are highly valued and will enhance success in this graphic design role.
On any given day, you may asked to:
- Develop Graphic Design & Branding for Product Development style guides and portfolios across multiple franchises under the direction of project design leads
- Art style/new technique creative development to coordinate with trends in the marketplace
- Contribute new graphic design ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions
- Maintain Graphic Design standards that meet brand guidelines and strategies
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong Understanding of working with type font composition and design
- Awareness of design, fashion, and market trends
- Ability to build strong POV or mood boards for projects
- Strong traditional and digital drawing skills in addition to concepting capabilities
- Skilled in Keynote and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
- Proven graphic design, layout, color and illustration skills
- Experience in design production; including art file cleanup, template conversion and document creation
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to create unique fonts and pattern designs

Education
Currently enrolled as a Senior, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization

- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- This internship is in person M-TH and work from home on Fridays; requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2027
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Orlando, FL area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
