The Boeing Company is seeking a Maintenance Control Specialist to join our Executive Flight Operations team in Gary, IN.
As a Maintenance Control Specialist, you will be responsible for on-call technical support, troubleshooting, coordination and final disposition of maintenance related items to ensure the continued airworthiness and safe operating condition of a global fleet of corporate aircraft. As a key member of a high performing and dynamic team you will act as the maintenance representative supporting the Operations Control Center and Flight Crews to ensure the highest levels of fleet reliability and availability. In addition to on-call technical technician support, the Maintenance Control Specialist will perform rotational maintenance flight technician duties on international and select domestic flights, as well as maintenance oversight during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks. Boeing’s corporate aviation operation is an ISBAO Stage III (International Standard for Business Aviation Operations) operator supporting high volume global operations with a fleet of Boeing Business Jets (737) and Bombardier Challenger 650’s.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level & Senior Maintenance Control Specialists.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor aircraft fleet on an on-call 24/7 shift
Authority to release aircraft for return to service
Review and ensure all required entries into aircraft records, and related documentation are accurate and managed in accordance with Company and FAA requirements
Work with Lead for daily priorities maintenance task
Provide technical guidance and assist suppliers with proper documentation and material in the completion of work
Collaborates with Flight Crew, Operation Control Center, in meeting aircraft objective
Maintenance technical support for International and Domestic support
Authority to sign aircraft for return to service in accordance with FARs
Assist Flight Crews with duties in support of the mission
Ability to perform minor repairs, postflight & preflight checks
Provide outstation supplier oversight of aircraft maintenance and return to service
Provide oversight of heavy maintenance inspections, repairs, and/or modification at offsites locations
Manage computerized maintenance program for aircraft documentation and supporting documentation prior to aircraft release to service
Review of cost associated with work scope, and participation in the After-Action Review
Build and maintain strong vendor and industry relationships in support of Boeing values and standards
Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert on the assigned aircraft type
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
Experience with FAR 91, 91K, 125, 135, 121 and/or 145 Maintenance Operations
3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance or troubleshooting
Able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel internationally without restriction
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
FAA Inspectors Authorization (IA)
Avionics Electrical Technicians (AET) qualification
Experience on Bombardier and/or Boeing aircraft

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $106, 250 – $143,750
Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4): $135,150 – $182, 850
