Description:You will be the Production Operations Manager for the Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality, on‑time manufacturing output for the Pike County Operations site.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Operations Manager you will be responsible for steering cost, quality and schedule performance while leading a diverse manufacturing workforce.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead cost, quality, and schedule performance for Pike County Operations.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessment of subordinate staff.
- Manage multiple manufacturing functional areas including machining, assembly, tool & die, and packaging.
- Develop and execute work assignments, salary structures, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that boost productivity and efficiency.

Security Clearance Requirement
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Desired Skills:- Familiarity with production lines at Lockheed Martin Pike County Operations.
- Experience with AUR Final Assembly environments.
- Experience with execution of cost, quality and schedule across multiple programs and multiple sites.
- Experience leading a cross-functional team.
- Experience in planning for increased munitions capacity.
- Experience hosting and interfacing with internal and external executive level engagements.
- Experience and understanding of complex return on investment (ROI) cost trades as it relates to program performance versus corporate cash position.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
